Plot[edit]
Sinclair (Kirk) and her fellow pilot, are fighter pilots flying over a remote area of Afghanistan when they are shot down by Taliban militants. Sinclair and her fellow pilot eject from their planes and become involved in a gun battle with the militants upon landing. Hook is killed and Sinclair seeks cover in an abandoned Soviet military bunker. Sinclair discovers a deep shaft within the bunker that leads down to an underground facility with monsters in glass tanks. Some of the monsters escape and chase her out of the facility. On reaching the surface she meets a platoon of American and British soldiers, who take her back to their base, along with the one surviving militant. When night falls, the base is attacked by the monsters from the bunker and several soldiers are killed. After examining a corpse of the monster, they determine that it is part human, and discover that the monsters are human-alien hybrids created by the Soviets from a crash-landed alien craft. The platoon decide their only course of action is to blow up the facility and a group of them head to the bunker to set the charges. They descend the shaft to battle the monsters and on the surface the Taliban attack again. The monsters and Taliban are all killed and the surviving members of the platoon drive away seconds before the US army drop a MOAB bomb on the bunker.
