The Long Goodbye Tour[1] is the upcoming final tour by American rock band the Eagles. The tour is set to begin on 7 September 2023, in New York City, at the Madison Square Garden.

Background[edit]

On 6 July, 2023, the Eagles announced that the band would be going on their farewell tour after a 52-year career. The first concert is set to take place in New York City on 7 September, 2023. Steely Dan will join the tour as a special guest. Deacon Frey, son of late band co-founder Glenn Frey will be rejoining the band after leaving the group in April 2022. “We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.” the band said in a statement.[2][3]
