The Michigan Man is a low-budget American horror movie following the slasher genre. The movie was released directly to video in 1983, and gained little success. The movie was produced by Taylor Ellingsworth and directed by Paul Lunsford. [1]
Story
The story revolves around three teenagers seeking proof about the existence of the so-called Michigan Man living in Huron Mountains. According to rumors, the killer is known for shouting the word "Michigan" before attacking its victims, explaining the killer's name. During their hike to the Huron Mountains, the three teenagers hear the killer's calling sign from far away. A few moments later, Sheila is murdered by the killer. The two other teenagers decide to head back to their car in an attempt to escape the Michigan Man. While running to their car, the group gets lost and ends up at an old, seemingly abandoned house. The movie ends with the characters entering the house, telling little about their fate. The camera then reveals who owned the house: The Michigan Man himself. [2]
