The Mike Stand is a 2018 Canadian documentary film about veteran comedian Mike MacDonald reconnecting with his comedic roots mixed with footage of the last shows he ever headlined.[1] It is directed by Brendan Mertens and Canadian comedian Mike MacDonald.[2] The documentary explores Mike Mcdonald going back to his old stomping grounds on US soil, while sharing his story of forgetting 40 years of comedy after successful a liver transplant. The film features interviews with modern comedians.
