The Pearl Harts are a two piece Britsh rock band from London. Formed in 2013, the group consists of Kirsty Lowery (vocals and guitar), Sara Leigh (drums). Sara Leigh has previously drummed for New Young Pony Club, Ebony Bones, Nicola Roberts (Girls Aloud). She also appeared with Hans Zimmer.[1] during concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2014. The band formed after meeting in 2012 when the members were touring in other bands. Within 2 years, they signed with Gravy Records and released their debut single 'Skeleton Made Of Diamonds'[2]. The band have been quoted [3] as saying that the lyrics were "originally inspired by a friend who survived a pretty horrific accident... at the time his skeleton must be made of diamond because he seemed indestructible!" The song is all about invincibility and strength in the face of adversity and gained them radio play on the BBC Radio London[4], XFM[5] and Absolute radio[6] In 2013 the duo put on their first show at infamous rock hangout Crobar in central London.on Gravy records gained them radio play on the BBC, XFM and Absolute radio.

In December 2014 their song "Skeleton Made Of Diamonds" appeared on the Blues Magazine sampler CD entitled "Intoxicating New Blues For 2015"[7] published by TeamRock and interviewed in the same magazine[8]. In January 2015 they appeared on the cover mounted CD[9] from Classic Rock Magazine[10] with their song "Ain't That The Way"

In March 2015 the band supported Blues Pills[11] on their UK tour which began April 2015 for 10 shows[12] [11] and promoted by Live Nation UK concert promoters. The tour visits venues including the O2 Academy Islington in London. The band have also reached the "long list" for Glastonbury Festival 2015[13]

In June 2016 The Pearl Harts supported Garbage on their UK and European tour.[14] They also appear on the TV show TFI Friday[15] hosted by Chris Evans in November 2015
