The Saugus Album 2 is an ongoing story based on the Saugus story from The Saugus Album by DJX Kbrokaysen.
Recap
From the organic story of The Saugus Album, the tragic Saugus High School shooting has set a new world for the residents in Saugus, CA. Many from the school, other schools like Valencia, Hart, Canyon, etc, and nearby families are shocked from the incident that took place on November 14, 2019.[1] The event had led to the release of Saugus Strong which was a statement used to represent the unity of the Saugus community. In 2020, rapper DJX Kbrokaysen took a stand against people who disagreed with using the name Saugus with any source of violent outcome. DJX Kbrokaysen had claimed,
| “ | It's unbelievable that I don't get the right to speak my mind! It's not MY fault that someone else made a bad decision. I have been using the Saugus Rappers name since 2016, and I'd be damned to let a smaller, upset, and weaker community let my pride down. | ” |

Three days after Markoff made that statement, his most iconic song Kill Me was created. The song did not reach stores until November in 2021. DJX Kbrokaysen created an album with his points of view and from his stories that he sees himself in the newborn city of Saugus.
Background
A return to the most known story around Santa Clarita, CA, the Saugus story has become a unity of a massive community for parents and children. However for some American music artists DJX Kbrokaysen, LI Shane Sum, JayB, and more look at Saugus as a very in-depth story. The artists use the massive events from Saugus and their personal feelings to give the audience a story. After the "Justice for Kill Me" campaign that Vexar Productions hosted, Markoff decided that he would announce Saugus 2.
| “ | I don't understand why so many people think they own the right to speak but can take it away from others. That's one really funny joke if that is what people think. One person had tried to do this to me and tried to ruin me for it, but the tables have turned. Now I am one hundred percent going to say whatever I want to say...and it won't be just me this time. I will make songs with a story not only on my experiences but also on other people from Saugus. This is going to be the biggest album I have made yet, and the collaboration status...is fucking unstoppable! | ” |
