The Secret Life of Pets 3 is an upcoming American computer-animated comedy film produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures. It will serve as the sequel to The Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019), and the third feature film in the Secret Life of Pets franchise.
Production[edit]
In June 2022, in an interview on the Apple podcast The Gary and Kenny Show, Illumination CEO Chris Meledandri stated that a third film is in development.[1] In April 2023, Meledandri revealed the studio was developing "a couple of scripts" set in the film series' universe.[2]
