The Simple Life (Season 1)

The Simple Life premiered April 2022, featuring Love Connection alumni Angie and Dakota living on a farm working minimal waged jobs. The series concluded on June 17, 2022.

Format

Angie and Dakota leave behind their lavish life style to leave on a farm house with the ledding family, while working a verity minimal paying and odd jobs. The goal is to last 30 days without giving up and going back to their rich life style.

1	1	“Welcome to Arkansas”	April 2, 2022
Reality TV Stars Angie and Dakota decides to embark on a trip to Arkansas, upon meeting the Ledding family, they are sent shopping with a $50 budget. Later that night during dinner, Angie and Dakota are getting to know the Ledding family by asking them if they hangout at Walmart. Angie, who is confused asks "what is Walmart? do they sell like, wall stuff?" which caused a humorous reaction amongst the others. At the end of the night Angie and Dakota shows attraction to their now little brother Justin Ledding and jokes about having a threesome with him.
2	2	“Dan’s Dairy Farm”	April 9, 2022
The girls wakes up at the crack of dawn for their first job at Dan's Dairy farm. During their time working the two described it as the most work they've done in their lives from chasing the cattle, feeding the chickens, to hard manual labor of carrying feed and farming. The two decided to take a break and sleep to leave the rest of the work to Dan before Dan would ultimately fire them. Back at the house, Angie and Dakota discuss Albert Ledding the father of the Ledding family how he is scary and very strict towards them, but that doesn't stop them from getting dolled up and sneaking out at mid night to party.
3	3	"Sonics"	April 16, 2022
The episode starts out with the girls having a fun wild night at the club but it's been revealed that days prior they've had the worst time ever. The girls would then be seen walking into their next job, working at a fast food restaurant called Sonic. After completing their paper work they are next seen working, Angie is on the cash register and Dakota is frying food. As more costumers enters the faciality the more intense their job is and the more responsibility the have. The girls were given the task of changing the marquee sign to say "Half price burger all day" but they decided to vandalize that phrase by wright something inappropriate. After being dismissed from their job, the girls find out by Justin that his now ex-girlfriends wants to be friends with him, so Angie and Dakota plans on teaching her a lesson on being mean to their little brother. The girls were made host of the spring time gala, and made everyone uncompfortable on how provocative they're dressing. Angie and Dakota would then see Justin's ex and trolls her.
4	4	"Horse Crash"	April 23, 2022
The girls are now driving to their next job, but before they do, they decide to make a stop for food, even though they have no money. They enter Burger King, and they both order a lot of stuff, and then when it was time for them to pay their expensive bill, Angie leaves to go to the car to "get the rest of the money" and takes her shake with her. Dakota is eating the food while Angie is in the car drinking her shake and then returns with no money. As the workers are getting annoyed, Dakota leaves to find the money in the car and takes her burger with her. Angie then orders a side salad. Dakota is in the car eating her food and Angie is in the restaurant eating her food, Dakota then returns and says they don't have any money and wants to return the food. After the workers are fed up and annoyed, Angie and Dakota goes up to a group of guys and asks for money to pay their bills. The girls enters their new job where they will be working with J O and manager their horses on his farm. Angie would then ride a horse and crashes into a another horse hurting Angie in the process. After being air flown to the hospital, J O feels awful with what happened and spoils the girls to ice cream and shows off her chaps to the girls.
5	5	"Who wants Sausage"	May 13, 2022
The girls joins the Skinner family, where they are awaited by James Skinnier, the rude family son who berates the girls on their spoiled behavior. After putting the girls to work and calling them dumb, Dakota snaps on James which leaves him speechless. The girls are then booked to do a calendar photo shoot with the fire company, where they pose in bikini's in front of the fire fighter, James then saw that as an opportunity to get back at Dakota by spraying her with the fire extinguisher. Dakota sworn revenge. Since the girls need to make money, They took a gig at Renee's sausage shop to make and sell sausage. Dakota decides to make James a special sausage by mixing dog food in it.
6	6	"The Nudist Resort"	May 27, 2022
Angie and Dakota arrives to their next job 90 minutes late, This week they're working as housekeepers at a nudist resort. Their task is to clean a hotel room. Upon entering the room, a nudist resident was still there and had peed on the seat and insisted the girls clean it. The girls were left alone to clean the room, so they decided to remove their uniform, wrap up in towels and order room service. After ordering food, they called for a maid to clean for them, right because their supervisor came back, Angie and Dakota changed back into their uniform making it look like they cleaned. Later the girls joined a body accepting class where they help boots the confidence of the nudist residents.
7	7	"Boys Boys Boys"	June 10, 2022
The girls found guys that they both like, Angie has a crush on Chops a guy who she kicked named because he has nice teeth and Dakota like Anthony your typically southern boy. The Ledding family is not happy that the girls are focusing their time on the boys over the family and demands that they cut them off. But the girls rebels. After planning a day at the mall with the boys, the Ledding family put those plans to a screeching holt which upsets the girls. Angie and Dakota decides that they're going to go out anyway. After a night of drinking Dakota realizes her purse is missing and quickly gets upset throwing stuff and spits on the pool.
8	8	"So Long Arkansas"	June 17, 2022
The girls are soon kicked out of the bar after damaging property and now Dakota has to face the music. The Ledding makes a deal with he girls telling them to go around town, pay their fines and apologize for their actions. Dakota enters the bar from the previous night to apologize to Shannon the bartender. Her apology is accepted but she knows Angie and Dakota are far from innocent. Angie and Dakota packs their bags and says their goodbyes to the Ledding family as they head back to Los Angeles. The girls are welcome by the tabloid and their peers as they talk about their experience away on a farm.
