The Three Little Dinosaurs is a children's picture book written and illustrated by Jim Harris. It is a parody of the traditional tale of "The Three Little Pigs" but the pigs and wolf are replaced with dinosaurs.

Plot

Mother Dinosaur warned her sons to be careful with Rex and they decide to have their own lives. The first Brachiosaurus builds a house of straw and plays video games, a Tyrannosaurus blows it down and chases him, but he escapes. The second Brachiosaurus builds a small house of bricks, which the Rex destroys by pouring water, but both escape from him. The third Brachiosaurus builds a big house of rocks and bricks, which the Rex fails to blow down and pour water on. While the first and second Brachiosaurus are inside at the third Brachiosaurus’s house, the Rex goes to another house to think about cooking the three Brachiosaurus for lunch. He climbs the mountain and successfully throws a giant boulder at the rock-brick house. When the Rex searches for the three Brachiosaurus at the broken house to eat, it was revealed they survived the giant boulder accident, scare away the Rex, and he never returns to eat the three Brachiosaurus again, leaving them to have a happy life forever.
