The Unprepared (Polish: Nieprzygotowani) is a Polish-language web series published on YouTube from 2016 to 2018. It was produced by studio Abstra. The show’s scriptwriter was Marek Baranowski and the producers were Antonina Banaś until the 13th episode and Mateusz Zawistowski since then. The series focuses on the peripeteia of six middle school students from Warsaw, Poland.[1][2]
The series had 2 seasons and 68 episodes, with the first one premiering on November 3, 2016[3] and the last one on July 11, 2018.[4] All episodes were published on the YouTube platform on the channel Nieprzygotowani.[5] The series was followed by the feature film, Nieprzygotowani: The Movie, directed by Szymon Masłowski, which premiered on September 9, 2017, in Kinoteka cinema in Warsaw, Poland, and later on September 20, 2017, on YouTube.[6][2] On November 14, 2018, a new series premiered on the same YouTube channel, titled Nieprzygotowani: Nowe Pokolenie, which, while having the same actors, focused on new characters.[7] The last episode premiered on May 22, 2019.[8]
