Theo Roberts (born 10 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bury AFC and Bootle on dual registration terms.

Club career[edit]

Roberts joined Wigan Athletic in 2015, and made his first-team debut during their EFL Trophy tie against Accrington Stanley in November 2017.[1]

Whilst at Wigan he went out on loan to Atherton Collieries and AFC Fylde.[2] At the end of the season he was released by Wigan.[3]

In July 2018 he signed for Chester.[4] In August 2018 he joined Buxton on loan for the season.[5] At the end of the season Chester triggered an extension clause in his contract, meaning he would remain with the club until the summer of 2020.[6] In August 2019 he returned to former loan club, Atherton Collieries, again on loan.[7] In October 2019 he joined Mossley on loan[8] which was later extended until the end of the season.[9]

In October 2020 he joined City of Liverpool.[10]

In October 2021 he joined Bury AFC before in December 2021 signing with Bootle on dual registration terms.[11]
