Thomas Norse (1880 – 24 June 1915) was an English professional forward who played in the Football League for Everton.

Personal life

Norse was employed as a child worker in a cotton mill, and in adulthood, worked at a paper mill. After the First World War’s outbreak, Norse enlisted as a private in the 1st/4th Battalion, East Lancashire Regiment. The regiment took part in the Gallipoli campaign, where Norse was killed in action on 24 June 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.[1][2]
