Threat Fest was an annual two-day, multi-stage music festival based in Smyrna, Tennessee, primarily featuring DIY artists from the Middle Tennessee region.

Threat Fest was established in Smyrna, TN in 2015 by Ernie Fabian, Justin Jones, and Zeke McKinney, who are members of the Smyrna-based Tooth & Nail Records post-hardcore band Idle Threat. The inaugural Threat Fest in 2015 also served as Idle Threat's first EP release show. The first two years were held in the Smyrna Train Depot, a local city park establishment. From 2017 to 2019, the festival was held at Carpe Artista, a Smyrna, TN music non-profit.[2]
From its inception, Threat Fest focused primarily on local and regional artists within the punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, metal, and indie rock sphere.[1] Noted headlining artists included Daisyhead (No Sleep Records), Sinai Vessel, Comrades, Household, Greyhaven (Equal Vision Records), and Idle Threat themselves. In addition to the main stages, an outdoor stage hosted acoustic, solo, and duo artists.

The festival consisted of two days of music at the Smyrna Train Depot on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29. The lineup for Threat Fest 2015 included:

2020[edit]
On January 17, 2020, Threat Fest announced that it would be held on August 28 and 29. The festival was cancelled on June 19. A compilation was released on March 3, 2021, in commemoration of the cancelled 2020 dates, featuring only Tennessee-based artists that had played at Threat Fest over the years.
