Thrissur North bus stand or Vadakke stand is a bus station in Thrissur City, Kerala, India. It is under the control of Thrissur Municipal Corporation. It is the origin point of buses proceeding towards Mulangunnathukavu Medical college, Ottappalam, Shoranur, Thiruvilwamala, Ramavarmapuram, Amballur, Ollur and Mannuthy.[1][2]
In 2020, the bus stand was rebuilt with Rs 6.16 crore CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) fund of the South Indian Bank. The new facilities include waiting room for women, feeding room, police control room, public announcement system, ATM, conference hall, office room, restaurant, medical store and South Indian Bank.[3][4][5] The bus station was designed by Architects & Engineers Association, Thrissur.[6]
