Timothy Joseph Adams (born August 4, 1958) is a Democratic politician currently serving as the mayor of Bowie in Prince George's County, Maryland.[1] When elected in 2019, he became the city's first Black mayor.[2] Adams is a candidate for Comptroller of Maryland in 2022.[3]
