Timeular is a technology company specializing in the development of time management software. Its products have the goal of helping people understand the value of their time and improve work-life balance.[1] The company was founded in 2016 by Manuel Bruschi and Manuel Zoderer. It is headquartered in Vienna, Austria.

History[edit]

Timeular released its first product in 2017 following a campaign on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Support for the development of its physical time tracking cube reached a funding target within 20 hours of launch, with backers pledging nearly €314,000 (>400% of the initial target).[2]

The company is led by Manuel Bruschi. He previously worked as a web developer and researcher at the Holzinger Group in the field of human computer interaction and physiological computing. Co-founder Manuel Zoderer acts as Chief Technical Officer. He previously developed and sold a startup named “zcircle.” and served as a mentor at the Google SoC.

Timeular operates as a fully remote-working company, employing staff globally.

Product[edit]

Timeular provides an all-in-one time management solution through desktop and mobile apps. Its patented hardware product, the Timeular Tracker, is recognized as the world’s first 8-sided time tracking device.[3][4]

Timeular operates a subscription model for its use, including a free Basic software package. The paid Pro software provides features like collaboration, advanced analytics and integrations with software tools. Timeular also offers bundles for its physical tracking device with Basic or Pro software.

Media coverage[edit]

Timeular has been featured in publications including The New York Times who described it as "a novel way of tracking time and creating motivation".[4] Outlets including BuzzFeed,[5] TechCrunch,[6] The Verge[7] and Wired[8] have also featured it.

GQ magazine described Timeular as “a great productivity tool for keeping you honest”,[9] while Inc. recognized the software’s ability to help you “save lots of time so you can get more done.[10]
