Tobechukwu Okigbo
Tobechukwu Okigbo (born 5 November 1966) is a Nigerian lawyer currently serving as Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO) of MTN Nigeria.[1][2]
Education and career[edit]
Okigbo Obtained a Law Degree (LLB) from University of Maiduguri, Nigeria before enrolling in the Nigeria Law School where he qualified as a lawyer and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. After his call to bar, he enrolled in University of Liverpool, United Kingdom for a master’s in Business Administration. He is an accredited certified resolution professional of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR UK).[3][4]
Okigbo began his law practice at Eddie Ntephe and Co. and the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group (NCMG). He left his law practice for telecommunications sector in 2011, when he was appointed General Manager, Government and Environmental Affairs, Airtel Nigeria. In 2015, he joined Smile Communications Nigeria Ltd as the Chief Corporate Services Officer and later transferred to MTN Nigeria as Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO) where he coordinates corporate relations, legal services, regulatory and stakeholder management.[5] He also oversees MTN Nigeria’s corporate social responsibility programs such as Y’ello Hope, Y’ello Life Plus, Y’ello Star, and MTN Revv Programme.
