Todd Alyn Durboraw (born April 28, 1976)[1] is an American former actor and crew member. He is best known for his work on the CBS police procedural crime drama television series Criminal Minds between 2001 and 2020.

Early life[edit]

Todd Alyn Durboraw was born in Los Angeles, California on April 28, 1976,[2][1] as the only child to David Thomas Durboraw (born 1951), a businessman,[3][4] and Michele Catain,[5][6] a crew member and real estate agent.[7][8] His parents divorced when he was two years old.[9] His maternal grandfather was Jack M. Catain Jr.,[10][11] a businessman and convicted criminal.[12][13] His maternal uncle is Michael Catain,[14][15][16] a businessman and convicted criminal.[17][18]

As an actor and himself[edit]

Durboraw, at the age of 10, made his debut and only appearance as an actor with the role of Australian Kid in the children's music sing-along film Kidsongs: I'd Like To Teach the World to Sing. His performance was uncredited.[19]

Durboraw appeared as himself in the 1987 children's music sing along film Kidsongs: The Wonderful World of Sport. He was credited as Todd Alyn.[19]

Durboraw appeared as himself on the first season of the Syndication children's music television series The Kidsongs Television Show from 1987 to 1989.[19]

As a crew member[edit]

Durboraw made his debut as a crew member in 1996, as a clapper loader on the "A Stitch in Johnnytime" episode of Johnnytime.[20]

Durboraw worked as a second assistant camera on the ABC television sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch from September 27, 1996 to May 5, 2000.[20]

Durboraw worked as a clapper loader on 48 episodes of the Fox science fiction drama television series The X-Files between 2000 and 2001.[20]

Durboraw worked as a second and first assistant camera on the ABC legal drama and comedy drama television series Boston Legal from October 3, 2004 to December 8, 2008.[20]

Durboraw worked as a second assistant camera on the first season of the ABC sitcom television series Modern Family from September 23, 2009 to May 19, 2010.[20]

Durboraw worked as a second assistant camera on the NBC legal comedy-drama television series Harry's Law from January 17, 2011 to May 27, 2012.[20]

Durboraw worked as a second assistant camera and production staff on 193 episodes of the CBS police procedural crime drama television series Criminal Minds between 2011 and 2020.[20]

Dubroraw worked as a second assistant camera on the Showtime comedy-drama television series Roadies in 2016.[20]

Sexual harassment lawsuit[edit]

Durboraw filed a lawsuit against Greg St. Johns, a supervisor on the CBS police procedural crime drama television series Criminal Minds, on July 26, 2019. He alleges that St. Johns touched him in a sexual manor "approximately two to three times a week on average" beginning in 2011. He is also suing ABC Studios, CBS, Warner Bros. and Entertianment Partners Enterprises on claims of assault, battery, sexual harassment and retaliation.[21][22][23]

On December 19, 2023, it was reported that a lawsuit had been settled on December 16, with 12 complaints each receiving part of the US$3 million in damages from ABC Signature, it was unclear whether or not Durboraw was part of the settlement.[24][25]

Personal life[edit]

Durboraw is married to Christina Marie Durboraw, a businesswoman.[26] They have four children together; Tyler, Riley, Alexis, and Reagan.[27][28]
