Tom Robinson, is an American football coach and former player, who serves as owner and head coach for the minor league franchise, the Chicago Falcons.

Coaching Career[edit]

High School[edit]

Prior to coaching the Falcons, Robinson was the head coach of Orr High School in the West Side of Chicago.

Professional[edit]

Robinson founded the Falcons in April of 1990. After a few years of losing seasons, the Falcons made it to the playoffs in their 5th season, losing in the championship game. In 1996, Coach Robinson led the Falcons to their first title. 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003. 2009, & 2016 provided more championships for Coach Robinson & team.

Impact & Legacy[edit]

For his efforts & contributions to the minor league football scene, Coach Robinson was inducted to the Minor League Football Hall of Fame in 2003.

Five Falcons players have been inducted into the Minor League Hall of Fame under Coach Robinson's tutelage.
