Tommie Edwards is a tech entrepreneur, the founder and CEO of Tedbree,[2] a software technology company headquartered in London, the United Kingdom with additional offices in Ukraine and Nigeria.[3]

She is an award-winning entrepreneur, a G20 delegate for the United Kingdom, an executive board member, and was recently named as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Tech UK" by Financial Times and Inclusive Boards.[4]

Education[edit]

Tommie completed BSc Insurance from the University of Lagos and a postgraduate diploma in management from Aston Business School. She also completed a diploma in Project Finance and Cross Border Innovation from the Harvard University.[5]

Career[edit]

Tommie started her career as a business analyst, delivering digital transformation to Fortune 500 companies within the financial service industry such as Barclays, UBS, Nationwide Building Society, Brooks Mcdonald, Aviva Investors, AIG, KPMG and Hiscox.[6]

She began her tech entrepreneurial journey as the founder of Eventbree,[7] an event management application for finding the best vendor for any event with the use of artificial intelligence.[8] She went on to create Tedbree, a solution delivery and management platform for matching tech projects to a team of tech pros through a proprietary algorithm system.[9][10]

She speaks frequently and internationally on the effect of leveraging technology, the importance of collaboration, and is passionate about discussing diversity in the global digital technology ecosystem.[11]

Tommie sits as a chairperson on a couple of boards while acting at an advisory level for many other boards including the Institute of Business Transformation.[1] She is a member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Institute of directors. She has been featured in a number of articles and magazines including Forbes, Director magazine, High Profile magazine, Business Cloud etc.[12][13]
