Tommy Griffith is an American Internet entrepreneur and the founder of ClickMinded; a digital marking training course.[1][2][3][4][5]
Early life[edit]
Tommy Griffith was born on March 17, 1986. He is the son of Janice and Tom Griffith, long-time news anchorman at WMUR-TV in New Hampshire.[6][7][8][9][10][11]
Career[edit]
After graduating from the University of Connecticut, Griffith traveled abroad during the 2008 financial crisis.[12] He co-founded a digital marketing medical tourism startup in Taiwan with a friend from high school, that ultimately failed.[13][14][15][16]
In early 2011, Griffith moved back to the United States and joined the digital payment company, PayPal, where he managed search engine optimization.[17] In 2013, he joined Airbnb,[18][19] where he managed search engine optimization for 4 years.[20][21][22][23][24]
In 2012, Griffith became an adjunct professor at Hult International Business School in San Francisco,[25][26] teaching an MBA-level elective called Customer Acquisition through Digital Marketing.[27][28][29][30]
In 2012, Griffith founded ClickMinded, a digital marketing training course.[31][32] Griffith was one of the first Internet entrepreneurs to utilize in-person meetups as a user acquisition tactic to grow an online course, a tactic he popularized in a blog post written in 2014.[33][34][35][36]
