Tosin Osunkoya (born June 1975) is a Nigerian financial expert, innovator, and philanthropist. He currently serves as the chief executive officer of Comercio Partners Asset Management and the co-managing partner of Comercio Partners Limited.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Born in 1975, Tosin Osunkoya became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2011.[4] He earned an Executive Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in 2015.

Professional career

Tosin Osunkoya began his career in 2000 as a dealer in the currency trading unit at Oceanic Bank Plc in Nigeria. From 2002 to 2007, he was the chief dealer in securities trading at Kakawa Discount House. He held leadership positions at several prominent banking institutions, including Zenith Bank, United Bank for Africa, and Rand Merchant Bank.[5] In 2016, Osunkoya joined Comercio Partners as the Co-Managing Partner and Head of Investment. In 2018, he was appointed managing director and CEO of Comercio Partners Asset Management.[6][7] Osunkoya has played significant roles in the development of Nigeria's financial markets.[8][9][10][11] He is also a board member of Fiber One, a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) broadband provider in Nigeria.[12][13] Osunkoya is an ambassador for Teach for Nigeria, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in Nigeria.[14]
