Total Rendition
Total Rendition is an upcoming[1] First Person Role-Playing Game by Schizotypy Games.[1] In Total Rendition, players assume control of an unnamed protagonist. In previous versions, this was Tzipora Herzog, although the developer has stated that prior to that, there were plans to have a Chinese spy and a Dutch marechaussee officer as main characters instead.[2]

The game allows players to pick a variety of skills which affect the routes a player may take within a level. These skills include lockpicking, weapons-handling and sabotage.[citation needed]

According to GiantBomb, Total Rendition is set in the Netherlands and features antagonists engaging in a “conspiracy to install Neo-Fascist governments all across Europe”.[3]

Controversies[edit]
Litigation against Mordechai Gabai[edit]
An arrest warrant was granted against Total Rendition creator Mordechai Gabai in 2019[4], in relation to a stalking accusation from the same year[5], although as of 2023[6], the arrest warrant appears to be no longer live.[6]
Allegations of Anti-Ukrainian sentiment[edit]
Total Rendition itself has been charged with promoting Ukrainophobia as one earlier version of Total Rendition from 2020 featured Neo-Nazis identified as being of Ukrainian nationality.[citation needed]
Early Access[edit]
Criticism was levied against its pricing strategy and the use of third-party assets in the Early Access versions of Total Rendition.[7] The developer has since justified the latter as being placeholders.[8]
