Trad (pejorative)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Trad (short for Traditionalists) is a pejorative word used for people and section in Indian Right Wing, to denote extreme conservatives. They accept each and every word of the Hindu Shastras. They support and try to protect family unit, culture, relations between genders, gender roles and caste system.[1] They reject Liberalism, Feminism, Modernity, and call them western ideologies with no role in India. They emphasize traditional values, and criticize other sections of Right wing, for making Hinduism into a free-for-all laissez-faire affair with no dos and don’ts. They consider Hinduism to be the only Truth and reject Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism, Which goes against Hindutva Movement of Savarkar.[2]They're criticized by right wing for not rejecting Caste system and are called for corrupting Savarkar's Hindutva Movement.[3][4]
