TravelLocal was founded in 2012 by Tom Stapleton and Huw Owen who are experts in the travel industry.[4]
In 2018, TravelLocal raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Wealth Club.[5] In 2019, the company also raised further undisclosed amount of funding from Active Partners, Wealth Club and Gresham House Ventures to enhance its services. [6]
