Trinity Audio is a global technology company that provides AI-driven solutions for publishers and content creators to transform written content into audio and support every stage of the audio journey.[1][2]

Software

Trinity Audio is a unified platform and AI company that transforms written content into natural-sounding audio using advanced text-to-speech (TTS) technology. It enables websites and media outlets to convert articles into audio versions, turning readers into listeners. The platform makes content easier to consume and naturally incorporates audio-powered ads into the listening experience. It uses the same AI voice for both the content and the ad messages, creating a consistent flow similar to podcasting.[3]

Trinity Audio supports more than 125 languages and offers 600 accents and natural voices.[4] It helps users reach wider audiences, provide better experiences, and distribute content across the web, allowing people to consume information in the way they prefer, through audio.[3]

Trinity Audio works with organizations around the world, with customers in countries such as the United States, Israel, Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain,[5] the United Kingdom,[6] Germany,[7] and the Dominican Republic.[8] Its technology is used by websites across categories including news, local news, politics, books, sports, finance, automotive, lifestyle, and entertainment.[9]

History

Trinity Audio was founded in 2028[10] by Ron Jaworski,[11] Shlomi Sutton,[12] Shay Meghnagi,[13] and Oren Liberman.[14] The company was established as a spin-off or subsidiary of Somoto Ltd., a publicly traded technology company based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Somoto was listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). Its mission is to bring value to publishers, users, and advertisers through a ConTech (content and technology) solution.[15]

Ron Jaworski, the company’s CEO,[11] established Trinity Audio based on the observation that no simple solution existed for converting written articles into listenable audio (similar to a podcast). The company was built on the foundation of making written content universally accessible in audio form. Its primary goal is to provide a platform that strategically streamlines and enhances how content owners deliver audio experiences.[16][17]

In 2019, Trinity Audio focused on establishing itself as a key player in the audio market through thought leadership, new platform features, and educational content for customers. In February of that year, the company published an article to raise awareness about the “audio revolution” and the opportunities for publishers to adopt and benefit from voice technology.[18]

In July 2019, CEO Ron Jaworski[11] attended the VOICE Summit 2019 in Newark, New Jersey, and later shared a recap on the company blog. He mentioned that the main challenge for brands and media was determining how to best use audio and voice for advertising and marketing, including choosing platforms like podcasts and smart speakers, and finding effective ways to monetize content.[19]

In November 2019, Trinity Audio launched its WordPress plugin in cooperation with Amazon Polly.[20]

A month later, at the AWS re:Invent conference in December 2019, the company announced a collaboration with Amazon to provide real-time translation from English into six other languages.[21]

In January 2020, Trinity Audio joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network. The partnership helped the company integrate Amazon Polly into its content-to-audio technology. The collaboration gave Trinity Audio access to scalable infrastructure and high-quality voice synthesis for its text-to speech player.[22]

Trinity Audio uses Amazon Polly, among other text-to-speech (TTS) providers, to deliver natural-sounding audio.[23] Amazon Polly offers over 105 voices in 42 languages, enabling publishers to create audio versions of their content in multiple languages and styles.[24]

Publishers worldwide can use the Trinity Audio plugin to integrate Amazon Polly’s voices with minimal setup. The plugin includes digital advertisements within the audio output.[23]

Shortly after the release of Trinity Audio’s WordPress plugin, Mfidie.com adopted the player for its website.[23]

In March 2020, a testimonial from Shepherd Yaw Morttey was featured in a blog post, where he reported that within a month, blog posts with the Trinity Audio player showed nearly a 20% increase in session duration.[23] In the same month, Trinity Audio joined both the IAB Audio Committee and the Verified by TAG program. The memberships reinforced the company’s participation in developing standards and solutions for the interactive audio advertising and marketing ecosystem.[25]

In April 2020, McClatchy, launched a text-to-speech feature across its 30 newsrooms using Trinity Audio’s technology. The collaboration worked to expand McClatchy’s presence in the audio market and create new revenue streams by turning written news articles into audio versions with integrated ads.[26]

The service was first tested for three months on The Sacramento Bee and The News & Observer, where it received highly positive feedback. During the trial, McClatchy saw a 168% increase in time spent on site, an 89% rise in story page views, and a

95% boost in visits per user.[26]

The partnership also led to the creation of AI-generated podcasts and their promotion across smart speakers and podcasts platforms. Jessica Gilbert, McClatchy’s Senior Director of Product and Experience, stated that the initiative improved the user experience, increased engagement, and enhanced ad performance.[26]

In July 2020, Trinity Audio announced a collaboration with McCann Tech to enhance value for technology brands through its Audio Content Discovery Platform (ACDP).[27]

In August 2020, Decathlon UK implemented Trinity Audio’s player to offer its audience an enhanced listening experience for its online content.[6]

In December 2020, Audioemotion was announced as Trinity Audio’s commercial representative in Spain, marking an important step toward expanding monetization opportunities and audience growth in the Spanish market.[5]

In November 2020, Trinity Audio released a report analyzing user engagement with audio and advertising. Covering the period from July 1 to September 30, the study compiled data from 40 news outlets, during which the company’s audio player was loaded more than 350 million times and reached tens of millions of users. The report revealed a total listen-through rate (LTR) of 59% for audio content, showing that over half of listeners consumed entire pieces. Audio ads performed even better, achieving a 91% LTR, showing that most users listened to the full ads. The findings also showed that long-form content generated three times higher engagement than short-form pieces, and that news was the most popular category.[28]

By 2021, Trinity Audio expanded its range of AI-powered tools with the launch of new products, including Trinity Pulse, and Trinity Octopus. Trinity Pulse was released in March 2021 and highlights trending audio content such as articles, podcasts, and radio shows, allowing publishers to create curated playlists on their website.[29] In April 2021, Trinity Octopus was introduced as a hybrid text editor within the CMS that lets authors turn written content into audio, customize it, and distribute it across audio and voice platforms.[30]

In November 2021, Trinity Audio introduced the first Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered audio advertising experience, marking a major step forward in monetization. The system used the same AI voice for content and advertisements, and offered a seamless, non-intrusive, and podcast-like experience for listeners.[31]

In April 2022, Trinity Audio released its integration for Wix, making its text-to-speech technology available as an official app in the Wix App Market. The integration allowed content creators on the Wix platform to easily add audio

capabilities to their written content.[32][33]

Super Hi-Fi CEO Zack Zalon stated that as audiences increasingly consumed content through podcasts and smart speakers, publishers needed enhanced audio systems. Trinity Audio’s founder and CEO, Ron Jaworski,[11] noted that adding an audio layer to written content boosted reader engagement, loyalty, and revenue by 10-12%.[35]

In November 2022, Trinity Audio launched its Twitter Audio Bot to turn Twitter threads into audio articles. The bot supports over 100 languages, allowing users to transform social media content into accessible, multilingual audio experiences.[7]

In February 2023, Trinity Audio introduced multiple platform integrations and resources, including guides for integrating with Ghost[36] and Squarespace[37] in August 2023, as well as an Advanced Settings Guide for the WordPress Plugin.[38] In September 2023, it launched a content recommendation feature to improve personalization within its audio solutions.[39]

In September 2024, Trinity Audio announced a major partnership with Ancient Origins. The collaboration introduced an AI-powered podcast product that transformed written articles into fully produced, immersive audio programs featuring music, sound design, and effects. The technology also included a summarization function for concise content presentation. After implementation, Ancient Origins reported higher listener engagement and broader audience reach across platforms.[40]

In February 2025, Trinity Audio partnered with Fortune magazine to bring AI-powered audio articles to its readers. Services

Trinity Audio released Trinity Player back in 2018 as a tool to let users listen to articles and blog posts while driving, exercising or multitasking. The player quickly converts written content into audio, allowing people to consume information on the go. It plays smoothly without affecting page loading time so it’s easy for publishers to add audio experiences to their websites.[46]

Later, the company launched the Branded Player, an upgraded version of Trinity Player that includes native display advertising. It allows brands to customize the look of the player to match their visual style. The player also continues to play audio seamlessly within the app, even when users navigate between sections.[47]

Trinity Audio includes an easy-to-use content management system (CMS) that helps manage, edit, and distribute audio content. Creators can make playlists, edit audio files, and share them across platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. In addition, Trinity Audio introduced Trinity Lock, a player designed for paywalled pages, enabling publishers to leverage audio content to encourage user subscriptions. It functions as a standalone unit but can also be integrated with other Trinity Audio products.[50]
