Giir Thiik Bol is a South Sudanese rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer and a record producer known by his stage name, (Tylerbrizyy born on 14 May 2003 in Juba, South Sudan). According to his background, Tyler started singing at age of twelve back in 2015, he was inspired by his cousin and decided to pursue music as a career. [1] [2]On 14 February 2020, Tylerbrizyy signed a record deal with Snapii Gang Records. He rose to prominence with the song "FAME" where he featured "Yb Uzi". He also released a new single "I Will Manage" in 2021 before dropping the hit song, "Soul" featuring a South African rapper-singer, Swiss Jr.[3] He is also a member of the Talented Times Records and Snapii Gang Records which license and distribute his music.
Early life[edit]
Giir Thiik Bol was born in Gogrial State, Bahr el Ghazal on 14 May, 2003. He was named after his great-grandfather called Giirdit. His parents divorced when he was eleven, and he settled at his uncle's house with his mother and sisters. Three years later, his parents got back together and decided to settle as one family. In 2015, he was introduced to making music by his cousin who used to sing. From right there, Tyler started having love for making music here and there with his cousin and step-brother. Tyler never had studio equipment for making music, all he had was a pair of earphones and his step-brother's laptop which had a multitrack recording software called (Mix pad) produced and developed by NCH Software for recording and mastering music.[4]

From 2014-2015, Tylerbrizyy dated Brigett Lamelo when they were still schooling until their breakup up over Brigett cheating on him. He then went on in 2018-2021 and dated another girl named Myladea Lin who was an (Instagram Model) until their breakup due to long distance and a few challenges Tyler had during his music journey. In 2022, Tylerbrizyy was rumored to be dating another Instagram Model named Gladis or Glaze. Tylerbrizyy first breakup was a theme to his hit song Soul [5] which was mixed with emotions and lost of trust in his relationships.
Career[edit]
Tylerbrizyy started his music career heavily in 2017 when he moved with his parents and siblings to Kampala, Uganda for further studies. Tyler was busy with school while making music on the low without his parents knowing except his step-brother Mou who knew that Tyler, has a great talent. Tyler released his first ever song (Fame) with his friend named Yb Uzi. Tyler never knew about music distribution until he started watching tutorials on YouTube and later released Fame on all music platforms.
Artistry[edit]
Tylerbrizyy has cited a number of artists as his inspiration, specially Chris Brown. Tyler emphasizes Chris Brown is the reason why he makes music and why he is an artist right now. Travis Scott has also influence Tylerbrizyy when it comes Hip Hop Genre. Other influences from Hip Hop side include Post Malone, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Baby and Jay-Z. When it comes to his rapping side, he mixes a lot of flow from different rappers while on his singing side, he draws ideas from the likes of Post Malone, Chris Brown, Justin Beiber, Rema (musician) and many others.
Music[edit]
Tyler released over (12) studio songs and (Five) studio extended plays (EP) with a South African rapper Swiss Jr and his fellow South Sudanese artists, Yb Uzi, M Korn and Young Dappa. Tyler has been making music without any collaborations/feature with any artist except his step-brother and the cousin he started with back in 2015. Tylerbrizyy makes a lot of different types of music genres to collect and develop new ideas/skills plus also his fan base from different parts of the world.
Education[edit]
Tylerbrizyy was born and raised in Juba, South Sudan. He attended the Juba Model Primary School where he studied his middle shool. He then went to Uganda to study his High School where he attended Merryland High School-Kigungu Compass.[6] It was there he got into making more music and co-founded un independent record label called Snapii Gang Records with his friends Tong, Akuei and Emma to distribute their music. He was signed to an independent record Label named: Talented Times Records in 2021 by Felix Jones, the CEO of the label based in the United States.

Tylerbrizyy has been ranked #8 as the best Male Hip Hop artist on ReverbNation in Uganda.[7] His hit song "Soul" was #6 on Ugandan iTunes Top 100 Songs. With all the songs and albums he has released so far, he hasn't received any awards yet but he got a lot of the virtual awards ones. Tyler released more than (12) studio songs and (5) studio EP With his South African Friend and his fellow Sudanese rapper M Korn. These are the songs and albums for Tylerbrizyy featuring different artist. In 2020, Tylerbrizyy stated on his Instagram that he is working on his upcoming sixth Album named (Heartbreaks and Pain) featuring unknown artists.[8]
Heartbreaks and Pain (Album)[edit]
Heartbreaks and Pain is the upcoming debut album by South Sudanese singer, rapper Tylerbrizyy. It is scheduled to be released in 2022 as the follow-up to his 2021 album The Journey.[9] Tylerbrizyy who was signed to an independent record label named Snapii Gang Records has been working on his songs and releasing Extended play since he join the music industry. On his instagram, Tylerbrizyy stated he is going to release his debut album in 2022 with no specific release date which left the his fans hanging. But then Tylerbrizyy did a twist to his album, he dropped his leading single from the album titled STARTED[10] featuring no artist.
