UKRCARD, previously known as Bankomsvyaz-EPS was established in 1995 by the JSC Bankomsvyaz as a specialized company to provide transaction processing services using payment cards based on the BCZ processing center.
UKRCARD Services include the personalization of the cards, mobile, internet and card payments. All the mentioned is provided by means of the infrastructure, complied with the PCI DSS International Standards, which is the guarantee of the fast and secure processing of the transactions.

In 1995, UkrCard was established. Its shareholders are the National Bank of Ukraine, Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, Aval, Agio, Gradobank, Energobank, Inko, Legbank, Nadra, Prominvestbank, Privatbank, Transbank, Ukraine, Ukrainian Credit Bank, Ukrinbank, Ukrsotsbank.[1] [2]
In 2000,
- Ukrainian Professional Bank became the majority stake in the company UkrCard.
- The NBU approved operational rules and "Regulations on the UkrCard payment system".[3]
- The UkrCart trademark has been registered in accordance with the Law “On Protection of Rights to Marks for Goods and Services”.
- The first card of the UkrCard payment system was issued by the bank of OJSC Ukrainian Professional Bank.
- UkrCard Processing Center has certified in the Europay Int payment system as a Member Service Provider (MSP).
In 2001,
- Seven banks became members of the UkrCard Payment System: Agio, Diamant, Investbank, Poltava-Bank, Region-Bank, Ukrainian Professional Bank, Ukrgasbank.
- Certification of Principal members of the International Payment System Europay Int. - Ukrgasbank and Ukraine.
In 2002,
- UkrCard Processing Center has certified in the Visa Inc. payment system as a Third Party Processor (TPP).[4]
In 2003,
- UkrCard company has become a certified partner of Oracle in Ukraine.
- UkrCard has become the official distributor of equipment for NBS, a world leader in the production of personalization equipment.
In 2004,
- Processing center UkrCard has completed certification in payment systems VISA, MasterCard to issue and acquiring EMV payment card standard
In 2005,
- Banks participating in the UkrCard Payment System have started issuing payment cards with a chip
In 2006,
- UkrCard is a golden sponsor of the sixth international exhibition-conference "Payment Card 2006", dedicated to the latest technologies in the field of cashless payments and security systems.
- Moving the company to a new office, located at: st. M. Raskova, 11-B. During the relocation, the software and hardware platform was upgraded, high-power servers, new cryptographic servers were put into operation, a new connection scheme of the Processing Center with data transmission networks was organized and certified, an uninterruptible power supply system and industrial air conditioning system were put into operation. In fact, a new Processing Center was put into operation.
