History of the UK Single Market[edit]
The UK Single Market was established in 1707, with the signing and ratification of 5 legal text:
- Treaty of Union 1707[10]
- Act of Union(s)[10], (Union with Scotland 1706) and (Union with England 1707),
- (Act of Union 1800)[11], (N.Ireland)
These legal text created Single Market of the UK with it’s current members England, Scotland Wales and N.Ireland (Republic of Ireland ceded from the UK in 1921)[12]
