UMe Credit Union (UMe) [1] is an American credit union based in Burbank, California. It serves members who live, attend school, work, worship, and/or belong to an established organization in Burbank, California within Los Angeles County, California.
As of 2025[update], it had 17,420 members and approximately US $336 million in assets.
UMe is regulated under the authority of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) of the US federal government.
History
UMe was chartered in June 1940 for employees of the Burbank Unified School District[2], originally named Burbank Teachers Federal Credit Union. It was then renamed to Burbank Community Federal Credit Union, and in 2011 was rebranded to UMe Federal Credit Union.[3]
In 2022, UMe partnered with the city of Burbank, California in launching a program to provide eligible new babies born in Burbank a universal children’s savings program.[4]
