U GRO Capital is a publicly listed non-bank financial institution providing debt financing to MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) and Indian consumers, established in 1993.[1][2][3][4] U GRO Capital was established after the acquisition of Chokhani Securities and revamping of the management team in December 2017.[2] The company is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

As on March 31, 2020, U GRO Capital's AUM was ₹ 861 Crore and the NBFC had 165 employees on rolls. The company raised approximately US$ 140 Mn from a diversified set of global private equity investors such as NewQuest, ADV Partners, PAG and Samena Capital and public market investors such as Abakkus, PNB MetLife and multiple Indian family offices.[5][2][6]

In November 2019, the company partnered with the State Bank of India to offer credit at a competitive rate of interest.[7]

The company won 'The Most Trusted Emerging NBFC' at India's Most Trusted Brands, Companies & Education Awards 2019.[8]
