Ukai Hon. Udeme Emmanuel (Amb. p.) (born 25 December 1978) is the current Vice [1]Chairman Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He is the Progenitor of the Udom Aduk Efaak and Akwa Ibom Afon Ama Initiative, a political group and a non - governmental organization[2].

Early life and education[edit]

Udeme Emmanuel was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Edem, in Uyo Local Government Area. He holds an O.N.D which he attained at the polytechnic Calabar, Cross River State. Udeme attended the Foundation Comprehensive College Oyigbo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He attended the Community Primary School Iriebe Obio/Akpo, still in Rivers State. Before he ventured into politics, he had worked in several companies and firms thereby heading different positions in the companies he had worked.

Career and Employment[edit]

Ukai Hon. Udeme Emmanuel (Amb. P.) has worked with Zenith plastic Industry Nig. Ltd which is located at Aba Express way, Port Harcourt and he was in the production department. He ha worked with Bellhop plastic industry which is located at Aba express nway, Port Harcourt. He has worked with Predeco construction company as a technician, Marine Tim company as a Transporter, Refinery P.L.C as a transporter, Alvac Nig. Ltd as operations manager, Socotherm Nig. Ltd as a transporter, and Udemman global services which is located at 43 ekpo obot street Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as the Chief Executive Officer.

Appointments and Politics[edit]

Udem Emmanuel is the first ever person to be conferred the Ukai title and he is the Ukai 1, he is also the First person to be conferred the Abai title. He is a United Nations POLAC Ambassador for peace. He was the secretary of the Etoi youth committee which had Sir Wilker as the President. He is the Progenitor of the Udom Aduk Effak and the Akwa Ibom Aafon Ama Initiative. He stood Election in 2017 and won as the Vice Chairman, Uyo local government Area under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ambassador is a strong PDP member[3].
