History

Ultipa Inc. was founded in 2019 by Ricky Sun, a long-time Silicon Valley IT veteran and a serial entrepreneur.[1][not in citation given] Ultipa raised an initial $1 million in funding in 2019 and another $21 million in a Series A round in September 2021.[2] In August 2021, Ultipa joined the Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC)[3],[4] the non-profit organization that aims to define standard benchmarks for graphs in order to foster a community around graph processing technologies.
