Ultra Beauty is a Washington, D.C.-based band. The band consists of Raina Martens (guitar), Madeline Joey Rose (drums), and Luke Reddick (bass).

Formed in 2017, the band was initially a duo called Ulta Beauty, but soon became a trio with the addition of Reddick, a member of D.C. bands Bliss and Saturday Night. Accolades came quickly: the Washington Post called them "the coolest, newest cool new band in town"[1] and Paste named them one of 15 D.C. "bands you need to know in 2018".[2]

Their self-titled, six-song EP was released by Sister Polygon Records in August 2018. The song "Get Pure" was singled out for praise. Pitchfork said "the band marry their scraggly sensibilities to a startlingly punchy hook"[3] and Stereogum said "The song pairs a wiry guitar line with a confident vocal performance from Rose, coming together as pop music for an apocalyptic era."[4]
