Umaro Darame (born 29 March 2003) is a footballer who plays for Recreios Desportivos de Algueirão in AF Lisboa as a centre back. Born in Guinea-Bissau.
Early life
Darame grew up in Madina, Guinea-Bissau in poverty, with his family moving to Portugal when he was fifteen for a better lifestyle. At the age of 17, Darame joined the youth academy of the third division team Recreios Desportivos do Algueirão, rising through the ranks when he debuted his first year in the Portuguese team, ranking second. After playing a good game against Youngsters Algueirao in the championship, he was invited to play for the seniors of the team that are in the third division.[1]
