Unity Party of West Virginia[edit]
The Unity Party of West Virginia[1] was founded by Andrew Rusher[2][3][4] who is the first chairman of the party as of April 10, 2019. The Unity Party of West Virginia doesn't hold elections for chairman as the post goes to the highest ranking member which as of April 10, 2019 is Andrew Rusher.

Unity Party of West Virginia Platform[edit]
- Abortion: The Unity Party of West Virginia rejects abortion however we will permit one if the woman has a legitimate reason to have one. We would prefer she go to full term and give it up for adoption. She will pay for the abortion, we don't believe the state should fund an abortion. If she decides to deliver a full term baby we will offer counseling, and may pay for the delivery of the baby but, this will be a case by case assessment. If the pregnancy came from the result of a crime the man will have a D.N.A. test done and if it comes back he's the father he will pay for all bills pertaining to the child before and after birth while the child is in State custody.
- Marriage: The Unity Party of West Virginia believes that marriage should be between one man & one woman on civil & religious grounds. We will support polygamy on religious grounds only. We support state & federal civil unions for LGBT people & non-religious persons. We move to abolish any & all marriage licenses in the state.
