Unlicensed[1] is a 2022 Kenyan action crime short film written, directed, and edited by Allan Bosire[2].[3]
Distributed by Half Moon Entertainment, it is the ninth film in Hme Originals (HME). It stars Veronica Nthambi as Anna, alongside , Cliff Boa, Menelik David, and John Brian Mwiti, In the film, Anna, an unlicensed Private Investigator gets hired by Henry, a lawyer to find out who killed a doctor, Charles.
Plot[edit]
Anna, a private investigator is approached by Henry a lawyer about the murder of his neighbor and friend, Charles. He asks him to Investigate the murder since the police could not believe him. He shows Anna the footage on the murder day, and Anna embarks on the Investigation by first going to Charles' house, the murder scene.
Anna looks around the house and finds a bullet and a coin which she later researches and realizes that Charles was a marine soldier posing as a Doctor, and uncovers the remaining 3 Marines in the Killers list. She contacts Henry and explains to him, Henry gives her the go ahead to Close the Case.
Anna receives a call from George, the kidnapper which she pings it's location. She Goes there, ambushes him, rescuing the three Marines who were kidnapped by George.
