I have read the procedure for page deletion on the FAQ page. However, there is no email provided in the contact list, and the messenger ID listed is not active. How can I submit the details requested in the FAQ for the purpose of page deletion?

My name is Melroy. I would like to help out with getting the server to the next level. I'm a software engineer and devops architect myself. I have many years of experience with various programming language including of course PHP (which mediawiki is using) as well as managing servers and infrastructure.

Long story short; I think everybodywiki has a huge performance / server problem where par exemple the homepage load times are taking almost 60 (!!) seconds. This is of course not acceptable, and many people will therefore quickly quite and not use this wiki.

Both DNS & record is only taking around 106ms. However, the server request is taking as long as 58861 ms. DOM loging and parsing is only 494ms. You definitely need help to reduce the server request times.

Hi I can not create a new article on English Everybodywiki page. It says the title is banned. And unexpected error occurs.

When will it be fixed?

Hi, please move The Nine Fre.doms to The Nine Freedoms. It's because the keyword free is blacklisted as a spam keyword by EverybodyWiki's spam filters. Thank you!

Pages such as Minor-attracted person were deleted and later transformed into soft redirect, so not kept after all really. It should be treated similarly to MOGAI (which now is a hard redirect on both simple and en wikis).

I do not understand what you want us to do here. Pages may be deleted because they are finally kept on wikipedia, because of our policy or because someone, maybe stated in the page, want us to delete it.

I have created more than 600 articles in Farsi section and I have been active in this wiki for more than 2 years.

There are a lot of articles that have no content and are just spam and occupying prime space for no reason.

This case can reduce the credibility of the wiki for the audience and users, and Google will display this wiki later in the search results and increase the index time of the articles.

I want admin access to be able to merge these pages with one another or delete spam pages.

You can't request admin rights like that.

You are right about the spam. But we can't check all +500 daily new articles and work on improving the website.

However, we are working on a Moderator project, see the form (avaliable on the Homepage of en.everybodywiki).

I'll keep you in mind !
