Uwizeye Marc (born August 24, 1991) popular known as Rocky Kimomo, is a Rwandan professional film interpreter, internet celebrity, talent manager and Businessman.[1][2][3]

Rocky born August 24, 1991, in Nyarugenge, Kigali in Rwanda on his father Nzamurambaho Gerrard and his mother Batamuliza Immaculee with one sibling. Rocky focused on interpreting international films from different languages into Kinyarwanda (the official common language of Rwandans) since 2015. Rocky is the founder and CEO at Rocky Entertainment, company with a recording label which known for raising Rwandan local artists such as Papa Cyangwe, Generous 44, Mirabyo The Warren and Emeline Penzi[4][5][6] In 2020, Rocky joined tourism and founded Kimomo Safaris a company which is known for domestic tourism in Rwanda. In November 2021 Rocky named as the country brand ambassador of Itel Mobile[7][8][9]

In 2012 Rocky finished his high school in Ecole Saint Joseph Kabgayi and later joined Integrated Polytechnic Regional Center East (IPRC East), where he graduated in 2017.[10][11]
Career[edit]
Rocky started movie interpreting in 2015, his first dubbed film is Salem witch trials. In 2016 he joined African Movie Market a company which trades interpreted films in Rwanda. In 2018 he founded his own company Rocky Entertainment which has many departments, music label which cultivates and promotes artists in Rwanda, movie translation house and advertisement.[12][13][14]
