VAR Technology Finance was founded in 1988 as VAR Resources in Dallas, TX by CEO/President Gary Sutton, after a successful sales career at Unisys, a technology distributor and reseller.[1]
Since 2009, VAR Technology Finance has consistently achieved double-digit growth on an annual basis, due to expanding its vendor partner network, unveiling new financing products and expending its sales force over 50%.
In 2015, VAR Resources re-branded as VAR Technology Finance, debuting a new logo and website at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's annual conference in San Antonio, TX.[2]
In 2015, VAR Technology Finance ranked #20 in MonitorDaily Magazine's Top Private Independents rankings.[3]
In 2018, the company celebrated its 30th anniversary in business.
