CovFeFe-chan, or FeFe (Japanese: フィフィ) for short, is a 3D anime-styled live streamer, or VTuber. She first appeared on Twitch on January 2020 running her channel as a "Punk Rock Radio for Weebs". She continues to run this radio station on Twitch, often streaming over 12 hours at a time.
Overview[edit]
FeFe debuted her 2D avatar on November 2020 which continues to see periodic updates including a new model revealed on September 23rd, 2021. Shortly after her Twitch debut, she moved to [YouTube] where she posts various content including highlights, commentary, and character breakdowns.
Personality[edit]
Though often silent in her streams and expressing herself primarily through chat, she occasionally speaks briefly in her streams. Her voice, which is often compared to Raven from Teen Titans, can also be heard in many of her YouTube videos. She is known as being rambunctious and playful and likes to tease her viewers and friends. FeFe has received some notoriety for licking other streamers, both live and in recordings, which those who are familiar with her tend to see as one of the best forms of compliment[1]. Some of her more notable high jinks tend to contain adult content, which occasionally result in temporary bans on Twitch or demonitization on YouTube. To celebrate 100,000 followers on Twitter, she posted a "nude selfie" on Fansly to fulfill a previous promise she made to her followers. Less than 1 week later, FeFe became one of the top trending subjects on this platform.
Appearance[edit]
FeFe is a 2D Vtuber with a punk aesthetic. She is often seen with short white hair and an undercut, however some illustrations give her longer hair, often with a ponytail and a red bow. She is known to sport tattoos of Projekt Melody, Natsumi Moe, Comdost, Bunny_Gif, Silvervale, Froot, Zentreya, and IronMouse[1]. She has multiple piercings in her ears and is typically seen with a chain going from a lip piercing and her left ear and red eyes. Prior to September 2021, her usual outfit was a white sleeveless crop top with "Mini Milk" written on it and a black right sleeve that she wears on top and stretches across her chest. Accompanying this is a pair of dark shorts and a studded black belt. The 2021 model has her sporting a semi-transparent white crop-top with a black bra under, along with tight-fitting black pants held up by a black and white checkered belt and black suspenders. She also wears a plain black choker.
History[edit]
Twitch[edit]
FeFe began her career as a Twitch streamer on January 3rd 2020. This was nearly ten months before adopting the 2D model and becoming a Vtuber. She initially began by running her channel as a Punk Rock Radio for Weebs as she worked during the day, and continues to do so even after her Vtuber Debut.
On the 1st of November in 2020, FeFe debuted her 2D avatar and has since streamed mostly gaming content, along with media shares including music videos, funny Youtube videos, and watching (and often licking) other streamers both live and on VODs.
In June 2021 FeFe was banned by Twitch for two days for unknown reasons. On October 4th 2021 FeFe was banned for a second time by Twitch for 24 hours after she flashed the stream with her Vtuber model.[2] It was later revealed that this 24-hour suspension was the result of using foul language when announcing her stream.
YouTube[edit]
While she had a presence on YouTube prior to that, it wasn't until January 10th 2021 that she started using the platform more actively. In less than 3 months, her channel reached over 4M views. Her style of short and witty comedy parodies of anime tropes has proven to be very popular among her already established anime-loving fan-base. Since then, a sizable portion of her Twitch audience has followed her from Youtube.
On October 6th, 2021, according to a post she made on her Discord, FeFe reached a milestone that many popular YouTubers have been faced with by becoming "Demonitized" on the platform. This came shortly after posting an anime clip that pushed the boundaries of mature content.
Music[edit]
FeFe has a big interest in music, herself being a former bass player. She still hosts periodic radio streams on Twitch, usually accompanied of an animated loop of her VTuber model dancing around in suggestive manners.
On the 5th of December in 2020, FeFe released a 54 track album called Virtual Memories on iTunes, Spotify, and more. The album features many fellow VTubers.
Twitter[edit]
When not streaming on Twitch or posting videos on YouTube, FeFe can frequently be found posting her thoughts to Twitter. Tweets mostly consist of banter between her and and her many followers as well as fellow streamers such as @Nux_TaKu @Kwite @Nagzz21 @Lost_Pause_ and @Susu_jpg She also uses Twitter to announce updates for new content and events on her other platforms.
Fefe reached a major milestone on Twitter on September 29, 2021 by reaching 100K followers. Earlier that same month, Fefe had posted that she would start an OnlyFans when she reached the 100k mark. Due to complications preventing her from creating an account on this platform, she turned to Fansly where she quickly rose to the top of search results.
The next major milestone came less than a month later, on Oct 17, 2021, when she became verified on the platform. Prior to this, her unverified status had been a running joke among fellow content creators who had previously been verified.
