Vadim A. Molody (Вадим Амиадович Моло́дый; born 4 June 1947, Moscow) is a Russian poet, essayist and publisher.

After the completion of the course at Pirogov Second Moscow Medical Institute Vadim Molody, a grandson of the scientist Trophime Molody and the nephew of Konon Molody, qualified and practiced as a psychiatrist (Jungian analyst). In later years he became a contributing editorial staff member of the Sovershenno Sekretno (Top Secret) monthly and also hosted the Visit to the Artist’s Studio Show on Moscow television. In 1990 Molody emigrated to the United States and settled in Chicago, from where he returned to his homeland 27 years later, in 2017.

Currently, Molody is the contributing editor-in-chief of the almanacs Слова, слова, слова – 1 (Words, words, words – 1). — Мoscow: Aquarius Publishers, 2014. — 504 p. and Слова, слова, слова – 2 (Words, words, words – 2). — Мoscow: Aquarius Publishers, 2015. – 504 p.

Molody was among the editing contributors to the Plavuchy Most (Floating Bridge) quarterly (Waldemar Weber Verlag, Augsburg) and the Zarubezhnye Zadvorki (Backyard, Dusseldorf, Germany). Besides, he created and for a long time led the Anthology of Poetry page in the weekly Reklama (Chicago). Books by Vadim Molody are available in the USA, several European countries and Russia. His poems were translated into English and Icelandic.

I do not belong to any unions or associations, never side with any literary schools or groups, am not involved in any literary movements, and deliberately ignore any poetic competitions, contests and tournaments.″ Molody says. Vadim Molody’s literary production has been highly appreciated by Eugen V. Witkowsky, Sergei A. Alexandrovsky, Xenia Dragunskaya and many other Russian poets and prose writers.
