Vanessa Johnston
Vanessa Violet Johnston (born October 29, 1991) is an American comedian from Minneapolis, Minnesota currently living in Los Angeles. She addresses the observational comedy on dating and current trends of being a female in America.
Early Life[edit]
Johnston was born in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota to Sherry and Mitchell Johnston. She won Miss Minnesota Teen in 2009.[1]
Career[edit]
In 2010, Johnston appeared in the CW show, America's Next Top Model[2] and the CBS show, How I Met Your Mother.> As an actress she has been featured in the shows, House, The Philip DeFranco Show, and BlackBoxTV.
In 2015, Johnston appeared (credited) in her first film as Erika in the Canal+ production, Jurassic City. Between December 2015 through January 2017, she was a featured comedian in the Kill Tony show, and appeared in 54 episodes. As a touring comedian, she has opened for comedians Steve Byrne, Tony Hinchcliffe, and Erik Griffin. On April 14th, 2018, Vanessa taped a 10 minute segment for "Comedy Dynamics' Coming to the Stage" Season 10.
