Vanessa Velásquez (born January 3, 1996 in San Salvador, El Salvador) is a Salvadoran model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2020.
Early life[edit]
Velásquez was born on January 3, 1996 in San Salvador. She speaks Spanish and English. She graduated from Academia Britanica Cuscatleca with and International Baccalaureate in 2014 and recently earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Escuela de Comunicación Mónica Herrera in Santa Tecla, El Salvador.

Reinado de El Salvador 2020[edit]
Velásquez joined Reinado de El Salvador 2020 on November 2, 2020 held at the Auditorio Fepade in San Salvador where eleven finalists competed for the crown. She was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2020 at the end of the event. She succeeded outgoing Zuleika Soler, Miss Universe El Salvador 2019.[1]
