Varun Joshi (born 20 May 1981) is an Indian television actor for his work in Hindi television.[1]. He is majorly known for portraying Dhundhkari in Vighnaharta Ganesha[2].
He debuted with the show Bepannah, but got recognition from the television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein where he played a negative role as Manish. Apart from this, Varun also acted in many television series such as Kumkum Bhagya, Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, Kundali Bhagya[3]
He also played a negative character in Disney+ Hotstar originals The Tattoo Murders opposite Meera Chopra. Varun was also seen in Dubey ji & the boys a comedy web series on Ullu in 2018.
Varun will also be seen in two upcoming movies Shashank opposite Arya Babbar and Utavle Bavle[4] opposite Rajpal Yadav.
Early life[edit]
Varun was born on 20 May 1981 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in a family with engineering background. He graduated with a degree in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He also participated in modelling events and won Mr. Delhi 2017 1st runner up and Mr. Elite North India 2017 1st Runner up titles.
