Veracity (data)

According to [1] data veracity depends on whether the data is
- objective
- truthful
- credible
In [2] it is shown that the veracity of a data source (webpage) begins with the question whether the source contains a dataset at all or e.g. only mimics to have data to attract web traffic.
Veracity is one of 5 Big V's of big data.
