) is a 2019 Indian Tamil language song from the film Bigil, composed by A.R. Rahman with lyrics written by Vivek.[1][2] The singer in the film and the 2019 release is Vijay, an Indian film actor.[3] A.R Rahman has said in an interview that Vijay's voice improved the song.[3] It is the first time Vijay has collaborated with A.R. Rahman.[3] The song was leaked online prior to the release of Bigil, as was another song from the film, Singapenney.[4]
Announcement
Archana Kalpathi, the creative producer of Bigil, On July 9, 2019 announced on her twitter handle that Vijay will sing a song titled "Verithanam" for first time in A.R. Rahman composition.[5][6]
