Vettai Muthukumar (born 24 April 1977) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry.[2] He has appeared in films such as Vettai (2011), Petta (2019), Sarpatta Parambarai (2021) and Mahaan (2022).[3]
Career
Muthukumar moved to Chennai from his hometown in Madurai in 1993, and later joined the Tamil theatre group Koothu-P-Pattarai in 2002 under the tutelage of Na Muthuswamy.[4] He featured in a few films in uncredited roles before achieving fame through Vettai (2012), where he played the role of Maari, a gangster.
