VibeChief (also known as Chief) is a music producer and DJ from the Czech Republic or Slovakia, best known for producing Brazilian funk (funk carioca) with blend of Central European samples. He is considered the first and, as of 2025, the only music producer from Czech republic / Slovakia actively involved in the Brazilian funk scene.
Career
His career started way back in 2015, making it in Czech republic and Slovakia hip hop / rap mainstream scene.
In 2020 he started to change his style to Brazilian Funk.
In 2024, VibeChief (Chief) collaborated with Brazilian artist MC Marlon PH on the track "Sequencia Vecernicek", which was included in Spotify’s official editorial playlist "Bonde do Funk". This made him the first Czech or Slovak producer ever featured in a Brazilian Spotify editorial playlist.[1]
In 2024, he performed as a DJ at first ever only Baile Funk party in Prague, organized by 1BigParty In 2025, he performed as a DJ at the Prague concert of Brazilian funk star MC Menor JP, organized by 1BigParty.
