History
The idea for VIERLESS was born during a three-month stay in Lisbon, Portugal, where the founders, Leonardo Lemos Rilk and Julian Witzel, began collaborating on the vision for the agency. They launched VIERLESS' first online presence on November 1, 2020, marking the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey. Shortly after, on August 9, 2021, VIERLESS GmbH was officially registered as a company in Germany. Since its inception, VIERLESS has grown significantly, both in terms of its client base and team size.
Initially operating as a small agency, VIERLESS quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to web design and its focus on the user experience. The company offers a full range of web-related services, from website concept creation to web development and SEO optimization. In addition to its design and development services, VIERLESS also provides ongoing website support and digital marketing services, including online advertising[13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] via Google[21] and Meta platforms[22][23].
VIERLESS has also expanded its role within the industry by offering internships and apprenticeships for students seeking to gain experience in the web design and development fields. Founders
VIERLESS was founded by Leonardo Lemos Rilk (born 1997) and Julian Witzel (born 1998), two young entrepreneurs who first met in 2019 during a business trip to Cologne, Germany. Their shared passion for design, technology, and entrepreneurship led to the creation of VIERLESS.
Leonardo Lemos Rilk is primarily responsible for client interactions and the agency’s external communication. With a focus on building strong client relationships, he ensures that each project meets the specific needs and goals of the clients. Leonardo has developed expertise in web design and user experience despite not having a traditional formal education, relying instead on self-taught skills.
Julian Witzel focuses on the internal operations of VIERLESS, including business strategy, process optimization, and the overall direction of the company. Like his co-founder, Julian does not have a formal academic background, having pursued an entrepreneurial path from an early age. Together, the two founders have built VIERLESS into a successful business that thrives on innovation, creativity, and a commitment to delivering results for clients.
